When I report IRA contribution, do I report what my employer spent on my behalf or do I report any spend that I personally made after receiving a paycheck?

Employer retirement contributions will be shown on your W-2.  If you make additional contributions to your IRA outside of work, then...

To enter/edit/add ira contributions:

1. Open your return (or continue if open).
2. Click on “Take me to my return” if applicable.
3. Type “ira contributions” in Search box (upper right-hand corner of the screen)
4. Click on “Jump to ira contributions” link.
5. Answer screen interview prompts
