When i goto file and register it says hit a snag

THis is not a helpful reply. This person and I are trying to FILE, not enter a W2. The instructions you gave are for W2.

I am getting this "Hmm... it looks like we’ve hit a slight snag" error message before I even begin using the program.  I get this after it has checked for updates and restarts Turbotax 2019 Deluxe.  It gets to the Activation pop-up and the four little blue dots swerl and then when they come together, wham! This error pop-up.  Have Hit the try button over the course of several because it says "Please try again or check back in a bit."  but still not working.

 

Two calls to Tech support for over 2 hours have still not resolved the issue.

I am having the same issue, and have had endless unhelpful replies and long phone calls.  Please reply if there are any actually helpful tips for resolving this issue at the FILE step.  I feel your frustration!

I recommend you try a different browser. For example, if you are using Internet Explorer, I recommend you switch to Google Chrome.

I have tried several other browsers.

I have tried clearing cookies.

I have signed in and out on many devices.

I have been working on this for 3 weeks now.

 

Why is TurboTax just ignoring this issue and giving non-responses???  I am extremely frustrated.
