When I filed my 2017 taxes, I filed for a 30 day extension to pay the Feds. I paid the next half in 30 days. Where do I report this amount on my 2018 taxes?

It appears that Extension Payments section may permit me to input total I owed/under paid the IRS in 2017.

You do not need to report that amount paid to the IRS on your 2018 tax return.

You would only report if you prepaid or made estimated tax payments to the IRS for 2018.
