When I enter my payer from my1099r , it comes up not valid. What can I do?

Are you trying to import it or enter it manually?  If you are importing it try to Enter it a Different way or Skip Import.

Are you trying to import a 1099-R?    If so, try typing it in manually.   The name of payer field will only take so many characters, so you can abbreviate if necessary.   Don't enter any special characters.   Where do I enter a 1099-R?
