When you file a joint return all of your information and income, etc. is included on the same return, for both federal and for the state return.
When you select Married Filing Jointly for your tax return, there are NOT two tax returns created. Only one tax return is created which you should have entered both of your incomes on the tax return.
In every Income section of the TurboTax program, when filing Jointly, there are indicators for selecting who the income belongs to, by name. You select the name, enter the income, complete the section and do the same for your spouse, under their name, if they have the same type of income.
Or you will have a selection, depending on the type of income, where you select either your name, your spouse's name or Both of You as the owners of the income.
I guess there could be some strange exception...if you and your spouse actually lived in different states during 2023....then 2 state returns would likely be required.
But you didn't say anything about the two of you living or working in two different states.
