When entering 12s on my w2 it's not accepting it

Do you specifically mean the number 12, or just any number? What happens when you try to enter numbers on your W-2?

If it's a code "S" in box 12

Then: The IRS ...very recently...is requiring the software companies to make some changes as to how it will be treated.

Go thru the steps again every Friday morning to check as to whether it's been fixed....no promises as the when you will be able to proceed.
