I am not a US citizen but I became a tax resident. Should I enter that anywhere? The system did not ask me that. Should I be concerned?

When did you arrive in the US? Are you a green card holder?  What visa are you on?  Thank you!

August 2013. I do not have a gc and still on a student visa, but you become a “tax resident “ after 5 years on stay, under any visa.

If you have been in the US since August , 2013, you became a resident on January 1, 2018. You do not enter any of that information on your resident tax form so TurboTax will not ask you about it.  Just enter your income and deductions and file!
