When completing a return as single turbo tax is showing a standard deduction of a little over 6k rather than the new 12k. Why is that?

When completing a return as single turbo tax is showing a standard deduction of a little over 6k rather than the new 12k. Why is that?
That change goes into effective for 2018 returns filed in 2019, not the 2017 ones we are doing now.
