When can I expect the SC forms to be ready so I can file my taxes? And is Turbo Tax the only tax company that still doesn't have the SC forms ready to file.

The only South Carolina state tax forms which have not yet been finalized are the Schedule AMD Amended Return Schedule and the Form SC2210 Underpayment Penalty.  If you do not have an underpayment penalty on the SC state return then all forms and schedules in your state return are available for e-filing.

Go to this TurboTax website for federal and state forms availability - https://form-status.app.intuit.com/tax-forms-availability/formsavailability?albRedirect=true&product...

Do the available SC State tax forms include 1040TC  CODE 022 CERTIFIED HISTORIC RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE CREDIT: For taxpayers completing qualifying residential rehabilitation
projects. (TC-22) the SC credit for historic home preservation?

Yes, TurboTax supports filing the form TC-22, Historic Home Preservation; you will need to complete form TC-22 manually and attach the form to your return in TurboTax.  It can be found listed in the non-refundable credits.  To enter the form into TurboTax Online, you can follow these steps:

  1. Click State Return
  2. Click Edit next to South Carolina
  3. Click Start Next to South Carolina Other Refundable Credits
  4. Check the box for Certified Historic Residential Structure or Certified Historic Structure (whichever applies to you)
  5. Enter the calculated amount from TC-22 and attach it to return
