the problem was with the program, not your return. on march 28th, the glitch was fixed, and about 8 am, i resubmitted my returns unchanged, and they were promptly accepted. just resubmit your returns!!
by the way, it took me a while to figure this out, and I do think that this incident, among other things, speaks poorly for Turbotax. I for one, will use an accountant next year.
