What would happen to my taxes if I had two jobs that pay almost the same?

I work at Lowe's Home Improvement and a employer wants to make me personal assistant that pays almost the same as Lowe's.

Will you get W2s for both jobs or will the new one pay you on a 1099Misc?  Better find out when you start.

If you get 2 W2s each job only holds out like it's your only job so you may come up short at the end of the year and have a tax due.  So you should adjust the withholding to have more taken out.  If you get paid on a 1099Misc, independent contractor, etc.  post back for a lot more information.

Two W-2 jobs at the same time?  You'll likely end up in a higher tax bracket.

I don't know very much about taxes. I would make about 64,000 a year with both jobs. I usually get $1600 back on taxes with state and federal combined at Lowe's itself. The second job I'm starting soon
