What to do about rejection code F5695-096 on Form 5695?

My IRS e-file (and state) are rejected due to rejection code rejection code F5695-096 on Form 5695. The details that are provided are a bunch of computer code statements. Is this a known issue? When will it be fixed? Will I be notified?

• TurboTax Desktop: A system update is scheduled for February 8th, 2026, to address this processing error. On or after this date, please open your return, perform a final review, and resubmit it for electronic filing.
