What is this error which happens when I try to open the 2025 version, TuroboTax error "looks like we've run into an error"?

I get this error when I try to open TurboTax on my laptop. Previously I was able to open the program and crearte/file a return

You might need to uninstall and reinstall TurboTax.

I tried to uninstall and then reinstall Turbotax Delux 2025.  Now the program does not install and I get an alert "the Turbotax CD appears to be damaged.  You'll need to replace the CD".  This is no help since there is no CD.  TT was downloaded and installed. Looks like the solution is to buy another copy.

BTW, whats a CD?  Just kidding but, like most new laptops, mine does not have a CD drive.
