What if I just got married to someone who is applying for a SSN but has not yet recieved one- and we do not expect to until June. How should I go about filing my taxes for 2019 as married filing joint

You should file an Extension Form 4868 on your return. The extension will extend the filing date of your return to October 15th. The extension form must be filed by April 15th. The form is not support to be e-filed in TurboTax at this time.

You need to complete your return with the exception of your spouse’s Social Security Number. Form 4868 requires you to enter information from the return on your form. You do not need to enter your spouse’s Social Security Number on Form 4868.

If you owe any taxes on your return you will need to submit the balance due with your extension form.
