What if i had obamacare for a few months out of the year and then went to my companys insurance

In TurboTax, you should first choose Obamacare and then there is a follow-up for other insurance.

You would have been covered the entire year and have no penalty; however, you will still receive a Form 1095-A to report the months you had marketplace insurance.  These forms are expected to reach recipients in the mail by 2/15/17, but will likely be available on either the Federal or state marketplace by the middle of January 2017.

Your Premium Tax Credit will only be calculated for the months you had insurance through the marketplace.
