If you had no taxable income then filing a tax return does not benefit you. You will not be eligible for any child-related credits. The child tax credit was different for 2021; you could get the CTC even if you did not work or have income. That is not true for 2022. In order to get the CTC or any other child-related credit you need taxable income. Perhaps someone else can claim you and your child as dependents, since you say you had no income. Who supported you and your shild?
