No. You must have adequate records to support your expenses.

It depends. 

 

If you are using the actual expense method of calculating the deduction you will have to enter the personal mileage so that the percentage of vehicle use can be calculated.

 

If you use the Standard Mileage rate it will not be necessary.

 

Beginning on January 1, 2020, the standard mileage rates for the use of a car is: 57.5 cents per mile driven for business use.
