What I owe the state should've been taken from our federal refund. The total refund amt on TurboTax reflects this yet I got a refund check for the full amt. What do I do?

State taxes owed can never be paid from the federal refund. You have to pay the state tax yourself.  In some states, you can do this by giving a bank account number for a direct debit from your account.  In other states, you must make separate payment arrangements by mailing a check or going to the state's electronic payment web site.
