What happens when I used 2017 w-2 instead of the 2018 w-2 and I already efiled?

You will need to amend your return to remove the incorrect W-2 and report the 2018 W-2 form. See the instructions below for how to amend a 2018 return. Note that amended returns (Form 1040X) must be printed and mailed, as they cannot be e-filed. Remember to amend a state return as well, if you have one.
