Second year in a row I'm asking this question as still don't have an answer...would an Intuit employee please make an internal inquiry and get an answer to share with the Community?...
With TT Desktop, at the bottom of each printed/PDF form there is a TurboTax revision and I want to understand what the implications are when it changes. An example would look like this: "Rev 03/10/26 TTW" The revision date can change when a TT update comes out (but not always) and is the same on all forms. It clearly means something, but what? Is this an internal TT tracking mechanism to indicate something on the internal form logic has been changed, or is it reflective of a form change at the Treasury level? Or something else?

I’ll check my windows Home & Business program but don’t think I’ve ever seen that. And nobody else has ever asked about that happening. Could it be from your pdf program? Does it show on the screen before you print?
@VolvoGirl Yes, the revision appears on screen before printing as well as on paper after printing. It's been this way for as long as I can remember, at least 10 years or more. TT places a revision on the bottom of the last page of all forms - right on the actual forms themselves (not imposed by a PDF program or anything else). The revision appears the same on all forms and only changes during a TT update - but not every update. This behavior is clearly intentional and therefore must have some meaning/purpose. But what is it??
Note: Just to clarify for any readers, this post is referring to the actual forms themselves, not the 'forms' in the Forms View.
You're right. Never saw that before. It is on the bottom of my printout. Very small, needed a magnifying glass to see it.
So how can we go about getting a TT employee to inquire internally and share with the community an explanation of what that revision information is all about? It clearly has some meaning/purpose...
