If you are letting the other parent claim the dependency exemption, you answer the questions in such a way that you can still get the Head of Household filing status, EIC and Child Care Credit. You will need to fill out Form 8332: Release/Revocation of Release of Claim to Exemption for Child by Custodial Parent
The screens can be tricky. Basically, if the question applies to residence, it pertains to Head of Household. You have to indicate that you are allowing the other parent to claim the exemption.
