What do I do to report boyfriend for claiming my kids since I do not file taxes since I recieve ssi disability

Moved in with my ex-boyfriend November 2018 and he kicked me and my kids out February 2019, I found out recently from his friend that he claimed my children without my permission on his taxes? What do I do.

Is the children’s other parent someone who you would allow to claim the children since you get no benefit from doing so?  If you allow the other parent to claim the children (there is a special procedure for this), the duplicate claim will automatically start an IRS investigation.

Your  ex BF would not be allowed to claim your children, even with you permission, since they are  not related and didn't live with him all year.

A child can be the “qualifying child” dependent of any close relative in the household. If you live with someone else, e.g. your parents, for more than half the year, it may be better if they claim your children.

How did he get your children's SSN's?  Since he apparently has them, watch out for identity theft. You might also want to notify the local police.
