All you can do is claim yourself as independent and wait for an IRS letter. They will tell you that someone else has claimed you. That is your opportunity to set the record straight. They will not tell you who claimed you.

The only way to handle it now it to print sign and mail your own tax return.  You cannot e-file if someone already claimed you and used your SSN.  The IRS will sort it out--but it will take time.
