It is too late to e-file now anyway; e-filing is closed for 2021 returns. But when your e-file is rejected for a duplicate Social Security number, the only way you can file is by mail. You have to print, sign and mail the return. Then the IRS will sort out the returns and determine who was the legitimate taxpayer.

I paid for max benefits thru TurboTax. Doesn't that entitle me to protection with fraud?
Max benefits is not able to help you e-file. The only way you can now file your 2021 return is by mail. E-filing is closed.
