There are only certain tax documents like a W-2 that you can enter by snapping a photo -- if you are using the mobile app. Some documents have to be keyed in by hand or imported. What are you trying to enter?
You can email the photos from your phone to your personal email, then download them onto your laptop. Or Save your photos to a cloud folder on your phone and open that folder on your computer.
Then go to the W-2 screen under Federal Income, and choose "Take a photo with your phone" (if you have the app) or "Upload a file" (if you transferred them) to allow TurboTax to auto-populate the data entry fields.
Select Documents or Upload Documents under the Tax Tools section in TurboTax to upload pictures of 1099s or other tax forms.
Some, but not all, documents can be auto-filled by taking pictures. If the upload does not work, you will manually type in the document details
