What are the main differences between entering a leased vehicle in the Deductions and Credits area as opposed to the Wages and Income section?

In the D&C section, under Job Related Expenses, this seems like the correct place, but there is also the W&I, Business Income and Expenses section.  HOw would I decide which one of these to use?  This is for a leased SUV for my wife's Property Management service (and she's paid with a 1099, not a W-2).

If she's paid with a 1099-misc box 7 non employee compensation, then you shouldn't enter the vehicle expenses in either of those locations. Instead, you need to add a self-employed business under the Wages & Income section. For taxes, this is considered a self-employed business and you need to set it up as such in the software. Then, you can enter her vehicle expenses and any other "business" expenses from within the "Self-employed business".

However, it looks like you are in the Deluxe desktop edition and you would need the Home & Business edition. You can enter self-employed 1099 income in deluxe but you can't enter any expenses.
