We've already paid the turbo tax filing fee for federal and state. The form was rejected. Why am I being ask to pay again?

Did you pay for the Live expert help feature?  Looks like you might have upgraded or added additional service.

If it's  because you added Live you might be able to remove it.  

There are 2 different ways to remove Live depending on how you added it

This same thing is happening to me. I paid the fee before completing my filing, and now that I am ready to file it is asking me to pay again. I did not purchase the LIVE version, I did not upgrade or add any additional service.

I purchased that federal AND one state turbotax return.  Now that I am ready to file my one state return, I am being asked to pay for it?  WHY?

Yes you get 5 free federal efiles and 1 state PROGRAM download to prepare unlimited state returns.   Then each state return is $25 ($20 before March 1) to efile.  Or you can print and mail state for free.    The box and description says Fed+Efile+state.   It doesn't say state efile.   See the prices, it says state efile additional under the price
