We had CHM which is an approved ACA exemption at the first of 2017, then we had a health care gap of 2 months at the end (Nov, Dec.). Am I allowed to claim both?
In the middle we had an Obamacare qualified plan (Feb-October).

Yes you can ... wait for the 1095-A from the ACA to complete your return ... don't try to file without it as it will cause trouble and long delays in the processing times.

Yes, you can claim both. You should not owe a healthcare penalty for 2017.
