We can't afford to pay $1000, both of us are now disabled.

I used turbotax to fill out boyfriend's taxes. He owes approx $1000. He suffered an acute illness & is now waiting for disability, as he now has to have 3x wk hemodialysis and can't work. He can't afford to pay this tax.

If he is not able to pay the taxes in full and needs to work out an installment agreement you can contact the IRS and speak to a tax representative there.
