File extension in Idaho

I want to file an extension in the state of Idaho and want to know if I can file online?

It is now too late to file any extensions for any reason.

For a personal return?  It's too late to file an extension.  Just file your return as soon as possible.  You can efile until Oct 16 or print and mail.  You can only efile state if you efiled the federal and it was accepted.

We already filed but haven't paid, we owe money and havent paid what we owe yet we just need more time to make a payment on the money owed.

We received a paper stating there will be a lien on the amount

Extensions are only to file the return.  Tax Due payments were due on April 18 even if you file the return later.  You will have to call your state and talk to them about making arrangements to pay it.
