Want to choose tuition deduction instead of AOC to save credit for 2020 when will be larger. Only way is override? which prevents e-file?

DD had tuition scholarship this year, so credit would be tiny but expect to be able to take it fully next 4 years. Frustrated that it won't let me e-file as a result.

In the search box at the top right enter LETME and click the search or find button. Then click the "jump to" link when it appears and work it through. You will only be presented the credits you qualify for, based on the information entered into the TurboTax program, *at this specific point in time*.
