w2 shows no hsa contribution in box 12, but they were made in 2025. Turbotax locks the data entry box on HSAs to the value entered on the w2. How do I get around it?

If it matters/helps, its a federal employee w2 (if this i is a known issue?) Standard HDHC HSA contributions made to a HSA - the HSA shows all the contributions made throughout calendar year 2025, but no HSA contribution category was reported on the W2 in box 12.

You should enter your Form W-2 as it is shown. If you have HSA contributions that are not reported on Form W-2 you can enter them using the steps listed below.

1. Click on Search at the top right of your TurboTax screen
2. Type HSA in the search box
3. Click on the link that says Jump to HSA
4. Follow your TurboTax screens until you see the screen that says Let's enter your HSA Contributions
5. In the box that says Contributions that XXX made (not through your employer) enter the amount of your personal HSA contributions
6. This should properly record your HSA contributions that were not reported on Form W-2.
7.  Answer all follow-up screens.
