W2 populated when I started turbo tax and checked yes that I would have a W2 from the same employer as last year. Do I need to wait on the paper copy to efile?

If the W-2 you imported appears to be accurate, the only reason to wait would be to double check the information on the one you imported. You should keep the W-2 you get in the mail for your records, but you don't need it to efile your return.
