Hi Turbotax community. My wife is a federal employee and received a corrected W-2c where it is indicated that more social security tax was withheld when the originally submitted tax return.
I have amended her W2 with the updated box 4, but do not see that she qualifies for additional refund based on the more taxes withheld.
Can someone clarify this for me, or help me understand why her refund numbers do not change based on the additional taxes she paid.

Social Security taxes withheld are not reported on a tax return. If the only change on the W-2 was for the SS taxes withheld then there is need to amend the tax return.
