For what box? You do need the employer EIN.
Box 9 verification code is optional, just leave it blank.
See, https://www.irs.gov/individuals/w-2-verification-code
W2 box d Control number is not needed. See
https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/forms/help/i-have-no-box-d-or-control-number-on-my-w-2/00/26469
The control number in box d is not required by the IRS - it is used by your employer. As a result, if it causing you trouble, just delete it. If it is not causing you trouble, then leave it in - it won't matter.
I'd number for box b
Box B
Is box b empty or completely missing on your W2? It should be right above the employer name. Ask your employer if it is missing. Or did you get a 1099NEC?
I have my w-2 but it doesn't have the ID number on it it just has the company name and address
You need it. Ask the employer.
