My wife and I are working on our 2024 return. We imported 22 1099-DIV forms from T-Rowe Price and 2 1099-DIV forms from Vanguard after we entered some 1099-DIVs from other institutions. After we were done, we realized Vanguard and T-Rowe 1099-DIV forms were no longer there. The return amount however remained the same. We tried to import the Vanguard forms again. Each time we import a form, it makes previous Vanguard 1099-DIV disappear while reducing the Federal Refund amount even further. It is like TurboTax has a limit on the 1099-DIV forms it can track of, but instead of recalculating the Federal Refund Amount it just reduces from the last total. Did we break the program? If we look at the Forms in My Return, under Schedule B, we cannot see the missing Vanguard form or the T-Rowe Price.

You didn't break the program, but there are some parameters (listed below) for importing that you may not have met.
You can try logging out of your program and clear your cache and cookies. Please click here for instructions on how to clear your cache. Please click here for instructions on clearing your cookies.
You may also try using another browser.
Make sure your transactions aren't going over the TurboTax limits:
If your transaction numbers are getting close to these limits, it can cause the system to lag or time out. If this happens, you may need to clear your return and start over. Then try entering the sales section totals into TurboTax, rather than entering individual sales. If you still encounter issues, you may need to switch to TurboTax Desktop to continue your return.

Thank you for your answer. For clarification, importing works. I see the data after it gets imported. There is no problem with the connection to the financial institutions. However, we hit a virtual limit where every import now deletes the last one. To correct my previous statement, refund amount does not keep going down, but it gets recalculated based on what is deleted and imported (which happened to be going down last few times). We are capped at 13 1099-DIV/INT/B forms. If I try to import 22 T-Rowe forms, the program deletes the 13th form, and imports only one of the T-Rowe forms making the total forms 13 again.

I called the support. The first rep claimed that I can use the file upload feature instead despite me telling him I am using the desktop version which lacks this feature. Second rep at least tried to research on her end for half an hour. In the end there was no solution. We had to enter ton of 1099-DIVs by hand. Not only that, we had to create an Excel sheet just to calculate the Government portion of the investments which were given as percentage on the form but asked as dollar amounts in TurboTax. We did all the calculations and gave the correct numbers to TurboTax. This capped import thing is definitely a bug or an undocumented limitation in the software and obviously we are not happy that we had to do all this manual work.
The same thing happened to me, when I imported Tradestation 1099-DIV, Apex 1099-DIV disappeared, when I imported Apex 1099-DIV again to fix it, the imported Tradestation 1099-DIV disappeared. In the end I imported Tradestation again and entered Apex manually, which worked. I had 5 imported 1099-DIV in total from 5 different brokers. I do not believe I triggered any software limits. The scary thing is that I discovered it by an accident, I was about to file. TurboTax, please investigate and fix it!
