Usually when I enter mortgage interest my return goes up significantly but this year it did not, am I doing something wrong?

The tax reform changes for 2018 could have an effect on whether itemized deductions (like mortgage interest) will benefit your tax return situation.  Here is more information on reasons why that could occur:
