Usually use the deluxe version as there is no cap gains on a house. ready to fie so how do I change to deluxe. I did something wrong.

The only way to downgrade using the TurboTax online editions is clear the return and start over.

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over with a lower priced edition. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2019 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.

Or one thing you can do is buy the Desktop program Deluxe.  Then you can switch from Online without starting over.  You can download the .tax2019 file from online for free and open it in the Desktop program (any version).  And the Desktop program has several other features and benefits over the Online version too.

If you are reporting the sale of the house you cannot use Deluxe Online, even if there's no taxable gain. You have to either use Premier Online, or the CD/Download ("Desktop") software. You can use Deluxe Online if you don't report the sale, but if you got a Form 1099-S you have to report it.
