Thank you. I used the first link to start over before and it still only gave me premier options. Using the second link instead I was able to start using the free version.
Also, I was able to answer my own question -
OUNSSMRR stands for uncollected social security or RRTA. However, this amount was reported on my W-2 in error under code "A" when it should have been "AA" = Roth contributions. My employer issued a fixed W-2 to resolve this issue. Now I don't owe anything... phew!
Hope this helps anyone else who may need it.
I don't know what that means, but what type(s) of 2021 income did you have? Are you self-employed? Sell a rental property?
No, just a standard W-2 for both me and my husband from our employers. Small amounts of interest in savings accounts and investments but nothing crazy.
Click on the link below that acronym ... maybe it will give you a hint.
I have done that - the $8k makes sense to me, the other $7k that would bring my total to $15k does not make sense to me.
Then why are you using TT Premier? Any K-1 forms?
I just have a standard premier account - lowest tier. That is the minimum I was allowed to sign up for. I've used TT for 7 years now and have never had issues. No K-1 forms.
FYI - Premier is not the lowest version. There is also Deluxe and the Free Edition. You must need Premier for something. Are you doing a Canada return?
It does not give me these options. I went back to double check and the lowest I could sign up for was Premier. Deluxe and free are not options on my list. Several years ago I had income in Australia and needed an advanced form, however, this does not apply since 2019.
If you want you can try to downgrade to Free or Deluxe. You can try to clear and start over https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/using-turbotax/help/how-do-i-clear-and-start-over-in-turbotax-onli...
