Using Turbo Tax Deluxe 2018 - all my home office expenses are not being calculated and reflect no increase in refund

Are you reporting employee business expenses or self-employed expenses for the home office?

employees business expense - I paid for all costs of my home office - do not have a physical office to go to

Employee business expenses are not deductible on a federal tax return due to the tax code changes for tax year 2018 thru 2025.  Except for Armed Forces reservists, qualified performing artists, fee-basis state or local government officials, and employees with impairment-related work expenses.
