Using my iPad instead of my usual Mac can i continues to prepare my Hawaii income tax

We need to know if you used online TurboTax or the CD/download for your federal return.   You have to use the same software for both of them.   If you used the CD/download then you can only use the CD/download to prepare the state return.  And...that tax file is only stored on the hard drive of your Mac or any other backup device you used.  You cannot use desktop for the federal and then use online for the state; the CD/download software cannot be used on an iPad.

If you are using TurboTax Online, then yes, you can access your TurboTax Online account on your iPad and continue working on the state tax return that you started.

If you are using the CD/Download TurboTax software, the software will not run on an iPad. You can only use it on the Mac.
