If i elected to pay my tax obligation by mail can i decide now to pay it online

Yes, you can pay your tax obligation directly online at the IRS (or your state if its a state tax due) website.  You can then just ignore/trash the voucher that you were suppose to send.  Use the link below for IRS payments and make sure you indicate that you are making a payment for this years return -
