US Citizen Living Abroad For More than 1 year, Spouse earns $ from US based job

My spouse earns USD from a US job based (California), but does this job remotely in another country.

I earned USD in university scholarship stipends studying abroad this year.

We have lived abroad for over a year (since August 2021).

My wife has travelled to the US twice for less than 10 days.

I have not returned.

How does this affect our taxes?

US citizens are taxed on their worldwide income. You will need to evaluate other factors contributing to your earnings being taxed by a foreign country with/without a treaty arrangement. In this situation you may be able to claim the foreign income exclusion or deduction.
