Upgraded to Home and Business to do a Form 1041 trust return only to find your Mac version will not support this. Can I accomplish this without a further waste of money?

The Home & Business desktop edition does Not support a Form 1041 regardless of which OS you are using.

To complete and file a Form 1041 you would need the TurboTax Business edition which is a separate program.  However, the Business Edition can only be installed on a Windows based computer, not on a Mac or online.

You will need to contact TurboTax support to see if you can get a refund for the upgrade to the Home & Business edition which you do not need.

Home and Business is still personal return software. It cannot be used to do a trust return (Form 1041).  You need TT Business, which is only available for windows.

No, if you need to prepare and file a 1041 for a trust, you need TurboTax Business which must be installed and run in a Windows environment.
