Unemployement tax relief

Hi I received a letter a couple months ago saying that since I paid taxes on my unemployment that I was getting a $261 refund, but I haven't got anything yet.  Is there any way you could tell me what is going on with that? Am I still getting it?  Thank you

Hello,

I understand you received a letter from the IRS stating the amount of your additional refund and you have not received the refund.

I recommend requesting a transcript to see if the additional refund was issued.  There are different types of transcripts, you would want the Record of Account Transcript.
