Under Income & Expenses, I have the same income listed as "Income from Form 1099-MISC" and as "Self-employment income and expenses." Has it been entered twice?

No, as long as you entered the 1099- MISC one time, it is just listed under both heading as the entry form can be accessed from both sections of TurboTax.  This is just for the convenience of the user as both sections will access the same 1099 MISC entry.

To double check your 1040 form so that you can see the income is only recorded once, you can preview your tax return before filing by following the steps below:
