The medical insurance premiums that are paid monthly are entered in the itemized deductions section. They are deductible as part of your medical expenses as long as they were not paid through the employer with pre-tax dollars.

To record your medical expenses in TurboTax Deluxe follow these steps:

• My Account > Tools > Topic Search > Type medical expenses > Go
• Continue to the insurance premiums screen
• Click the screenshots attached to enlarge and view for assistance.
