Turbo Tax import allows me to login and then throws the error below. I am able to login to E*Trade and access all my documents though I had closed this account in 2025. The same error message shows up even for E*Trade from Morgan Stanley. Please advise the best and easiest way to go about with least manual work. Thank you!

You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
If your account is closed, it will not import.
If TurboTax is not letting you continue, you can try the following:
Go out of your program and go back in.
Clear your cache and cookies.
Try a different Web Browser.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop make sure all updates have been run on your program. You can do this by clicking on "Online" in the black bar across the top of your TurboTax screen. And then select "Check for Updates".

I tried importing from E*Trade from my Turbo Tax Premier Desktop again after installing all updates, but got the same error. Could it because my E*Trade accounts are closed? Also, appreciate your suggestion on the easiest and least manual way to go about if Turbo Tax Desktop doesn't support import of closed accounts. Thanks again!
