Hello - I’m trying to import my 1099 Composite from Apex Clearing Corp, but I keep receiving the error message below. I’ve tried entering my account number both as-is and with “10-” in front of it, and I’ve also entered my Social Security number with and without dashes.

Looks like they fixed this bug. I'm able to import from Apex to TurboTax now.
When the issue persists, the information will need to be entered manually.
On the other hand, you can see the links below for more detailed information:
When will I be able to import my 1099?

This is definitely NOT an "expert" answer. If we are paying for TT then we should be able to utilize services - like import - that TT advertises. Telling us "too bad, do it all manually" is kind of like a slap in the face. This is on TT to fix.
Same problem, I cannot get Apex Clearing to import, keep getting a 103 error. Manually entering forms is not an option, the ONLY reason I use TT is because of the import function. What other steps can be taken to fix the Apex import capability?
Importing successfully requires a clear connection. This can include a number of factors, like disabling anti-virus programs/VPNs, allowing LAN in browser settings, third-party access enabled in your broker account.
Users have reported success using a different browser like Firefox, or using an incognito window in Chrome.
Schwab, E*trade and vanguard all imported with no issues. Tried switching browsers but no luck with Apex.
Since you successfully imported from other brokers, it's most likely not a computer issue. I would guess that the documents just aren't ready for import yet at Apex. Remember that the IRS already has copies of all your 1099's, so a Summary Total is perfectly acceptable on your tax return.
Looks like they fixed this bug. I'm able to import from Apex to TurboTax now.
