Unable to file taxes because Schedule K-1 Part III Line 7 is empty and I am unable to place anything in that box to complete it.  The following directions show above it. 

-------Sch K-1 Wks-Partnerships (Eight Six Investments LLC): Sch E worksheet link must be established. Royalty income and expense is reported on Schedule E. Link to the applicable copy of Schedule E Worksheet. Also report any out of pocket royalty expenses on that worksheet.-------------

Line 7 states: "Royalties - Double-click to link royalties to Schedule E Worksheet"

I cannot "double click" anything.  I tried entering zero but it keeps looping around.  

Any help would be great!

This usually happens because a "0" or a specific code was accidentally entered in the royalty-related boxes (Box 7 or Box 13, Code I). Because "blank" and "zero" are treated differently, the software triggers a validation rule requiring a link that doesn't exist. 

Remove Zeroes from Box 7 and Box 13:

• Navigate back to your Schedule K-1 interview.
• Find the screen for Box 7 (Royalties) and Box 13 (Code I - Deductions related to royalty income).
• If there is a 0 in these boxes, delete it entirely so the field is completely vacant.
• If you checked Code I in Box 13, uncheck it.

That worked wonders!  

Box 7 on the original K-1 filing page had a zero in it.  I did not see the option of a Box 13.  I removed the Zero from Box 7 and then went back through it all.  That did the trick.  Thank you so much for the answer and your timeliness!
